It was an awesome day at The Isle! The greens were slick, the beer was cold, the food was tasty, and we lucked out with another perfect, sunny day. The tournament format proved to challenge even the best golfers in the field, and ultimately the Roberts Duo came out on top with an impressive 7-under victory. They also had the only birdie on hole #5 – not a particularly tricky par 3, but the alternate shot format spiced things up for all the players.
Thank you to the entire field for bringing the fun on Sunday and a huge shout out to Emerald Isle for their super friendly and accommodating staff.
We look forward to seeing you all next month when we host our FIRST Dogleg League MAJOR of the year – The Gimme Golden Open. The format for this event will be a scramble with 4-person teams. The prizes will be bigger and the points will be higher, so sign-up before the field is full!

It’s so exciting and fulfilling to see so many people enjoying our events and watching this community grow – people making new friends, playing with old ones, or just spending the afternoon with family.

Jeff Easterday and Mauricio Rayas valiantly defended their title from January and took home another victory after carding in impressive 7-under 51. More birdies were flying around the Garett Daniel and Paul Romaine who finished second place at 53 (5-under) and rounding out the top 3 were Lumsden/Pedery-Edwards and McGuiness/McGuinness. Honorable mention was Bryan Rusch, who made his first-ever ACE on #13 with a 9-iron in hand, taking home half the skins - $205! The sole other skin prize went to the team Fox/Burkhart who made an impressive eagle on #4.
