The Dogleg League is BACK y'all and man oh man, it didn't disappoint! Not only did the golf gods grant us with a break in the rainy forecast, but someone had a HOLE IN ONE!  Big thanks to our hosts, Rancho Carlsbad Golf Course! If you've never been, it's a fun 18-hole par-3 track in Carlsbad. This place has it all - fun golf, a driving range, practice green, a grill and Dogleg Beer of course! We couldn't have been more thrilled with the turn out - nearly 50 players joined us for a Sunday Funday on the links. There were novice and seasoned golfers alike: guys, gals, couples and pals! Seeing everyone out there stretching their legs, enjoying the sunshine and making new friends is exactly what this League is all about. Check out our next event at St. Mark Executive >> We wanted to put everyone's creativity and short game skills to the test, so the format was a 5-Club Challenge, where you could only play with 5 clubs of your choice. Just to spice things up and even the playing field, we made it a blind draw partner best-ball - meaning we randomly paired score cards at the end for a best ball total and to determine the winners. The highlight of the day is when Alyssa Waite stepped up to the 12th tee - a tricky 83-yard hole with a nasty side hill pin placement - an knocked it in for her first-ever ACE! The final top blind draw teams were: 1st PLACE: Joe Ryon & Stephen Vivier with a combined best ball score of 49 2nd PLACE: Alyssa Waite & Josiah Duheim with a combined best ball score of 50 3rd PLACE: Steve Wightman & Katy Barrett with a combined best ball score of 51 Closest to the Pin: Lou Riddle and Katy Barrett The 5-Club Challenge was the perfect way to kick off 2021, and we can't WAIT to bring you more!
